New Study Suggest Concerts Are the Key to Happiness

Get ready to get noisey

Of course going to see some of your favorite artists is going to make you happy, but you need to start doing it more so happiness never leaves your door.

British scientists studied 117 people that went to an Eric Whitacre concert at the Gloucester Cathedral last year, where every person of the study had to donate samples of their saliva at the beginning and at the end of the event.

The results showed that after enjoying a really good concert, the saliva had less cortisol in it, which is known as the stress hormone. According to the Center of the Performing Science- the one in charge of this study- this was the first evidence of how a cultural event can cause a huge impact in the way endocrine works.

Another similar research made in Australia by scientists of the Deakin University of Victoria showed that a thousand Australians who went to any musical event had higher levels of satisfaction in their lives.

In addition to that, people who share these moments with you turned out to be one really special factor, because listening music by oneself does not have the same effect as it does with a group.
