U.S.A.- An NBC reporter found an old lady drinking a nice beer in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, and got closer to talk to her; she told him that one of her life secrets was the beer.

Her name is Mildred Bowers and she went out to celebrate with her friends few weeks before her Birthday, but instead of drinking a nice coffee or a pretty cup of tea, she decided to have a really cold beer. She said that there were two secrets for a healthy and a long life...

One of them were the genes, "it's all in the genes," she said. "I feel okay because I'm in good health"... and well, as we know, the other secret was BEER.

Everyday at 4:00 pm she allows herself to have a beer at the assisted living facility. According to this 103-year-old woman, this routine started when she said to herself one day "why not?"

She consulted this idea with her doctor and he agreed. Mildred pointed out that she recommended this "treatment" to old people, as long as they liked the taste.
