MEXICO.- "The World's 50 Best Restaurants" awards take place every year in New York, and the list of the results of 2016 is already available online, and two Mexican restaurants come on top. Great news!

There's a place in Mexico City that embodies many fresh vegetables in its dishes. Quintonil is run by Chef Jorge Vallejo and his specialty is modern cuisine. The most famous dish of Quintonil is sardines in a green sauce with purslane, fennel, and guacamole; added to that, Vallejo prepares an exquisite and impressive dessert of mamey, caramelized corn crumble, and mamey seed ice cream.
