ROSARITO.- This past Oct. 1, Baja Studios -formerly known as Foxploration- was the host of Baja Fest, an event to commemorate the International Day of Tourism and celebrate all Baja goods.
The effort and energy of everyone involved in the event's organization was on point, but there weren't so many exhibitors and the number of attendees was not the expected by the organizers.
But letting that aside, there was more positives than negatives, excellent culinary exhibitors from Tijuana and craft beer of the best quality were the stars of the event. The environment was perfectly enjoyable by every member of the family and it was pet friendly. Shorty Ross from "Pit Boss" program of Animal Planet was one of the guests.
The music was the greatest success of the event, La Ballena de Jonasis a very known band in Baja and shook people's heart with their incredible mix of music genres, while DJ Chucuchú and Takón Machine, made everyone dance with their catchy rhythm.
However, this event definitely couldn't represent all the marvels you can find in Baja California, so we expect that next time they focus on more specific subjects of the region and make it a more special celebration with the participation of every town of Baja.
All in all, you should definitely consider to learn more about this beautiful state and how their cuisine, their people, and music, merge perfectly well to create a very welcoming and friendly environment.
