12 Awesome Tijuana Events to Celebrate Halloween this Weekend

TIJUANA.- Remember when the year started and you already wanted October to begin? Well, now it's about to end and Halloween is just around the corner, you can almost taste all those "mainstream" costumes you'll hate but love, and all that candy (or booze) that's just waiting for you.

Sadly, is going to be a "Mondaze" Halloween, but don't stress about it, because fun will be endless these last days of monsters and big beautiful moons.

Here is the list of events you can consider for having a great time this weekend.

Thursday Oct. 27

1.- Invasion Zombie

Galerias Hipodromo has been organizing a series of events to celebrate Halloween during this month, and today afternoon, zombies are ready to visit and hunt some humans, so you'll have to prove your surviving skills to a zombie Apocalypse and win $2000.00 galipesos, which is money you can only spend in this mall.

Friday Oct. 28

2.- Panic Room

This Haunted House has 10 sceneries with 15 well-prepared actors that won't hesitate in scaring your vulnerable soul. Panic Room will be open the whole month until Nov. 2

3.- The Purge Carnival Attraction

High School Lazaro Cardenas is organizing a Halloween event for the general public, where food, costume contests, interactive sceneries and Purge protocols will be part of this event.

4.- Tattoo Party

Yes, that's right, if you're thinking about inking yourself, don't miss the chance to win a good quality tattoo for a very low price at this event. Underground Tattoo is having a party with food, beer, discounts, and a tattoo raffle.

If one of your dreams is to shoot zombies and be part of a badass anti-zombies squad, then this paintball game is for you. You'll be assigned to a 20 people squad to fight back, you can be part of the bomb squad, protection squad (shoot), or of the look-up squad.

6.-Picnic Night with "The Exorcist"

Yes, one of the most controversial and scary movies of all time is going to have its own showing at CEART Tijuana. The event will be outdoors, therefore, it's more than okey for you to bring blankets or camping chairs to be comfortable.

7.- Genitallica Halloween Concert

This will be a very awesome Mexican night, in which ska, punk, and reggae will create a very energizing atmosphere. Pucha Lucha will be the musical guests and the winner of the costume contest will receive almost $2500.00 dlls in prizes.

8.- Playas Z Land

This will be the first zombie walk in Playas de Tijuana, the start line will be in La Casa de la Cultura de Playas de Tijuana (The Culture House of Playas de Tijuana), and the walk will end at El Faro (the lighthouse). It will be a pretty friendly event, so you can take the whole family with you. There will be a costume contest and several food stands.

9.-Gualloween Fest
