El Trompo Museum in Tijuana Will Have a Festive December

Among the highlights are Night of the Stars and the Eighth Anniversary celebration of this Interactive Museum

TIJUANA.- The last month of the year is all about celebration and spending time with the ones you love, and El Trompo Museum is an institution that enjoys providing cool activities for everyone who wants to have fun by learning, and December program will be full of surprises.

This interactive museum has released their Christmas program and there are two events that stand out in the first half of the month.

Today, from 10:00 am and on, the event "Noche de las estrellas" (Stars Night) will be held at El Trompo facilities, an astronomical observation day with free entrance. This event will have workshops, an artistic festival, and more.

The celebration of the 8th anniversary of the Museum will start at 10:00 on Sunday Dec. 11, where entrance will also be free and all attendees will have a day with all kind of activities, such as food tastings, candy, cake, and everything nice a party cannot afford to lack. The event will end at 6:00 pm

The performance of the traditional play "The Nutcracker" by the dance company of Baja California will be held during the weekend, 7:00 pm today, and 6:00 pm on Sunday, and food tastings in the same day from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. December will be the last month to enjoy of "Buen Provecho" (Bon Appetit) temporal exhibition.

Christmas crafts workshops, cupcake days, math assessment at the Multimedia room "Educa" and program "Probaditas de Ciencia" (A taste of science) will also be part of this December program, as well as the experiment show "Girando con la ciencia" (Spinning with science) on Saturday at 3:00 pm.

Finally, "Museum Fridays" on Dec. 23 and 30 will be held at El Trompo from 7:30 am to 3:00 or 5:00 pm. If you want more detailed information on this program check out the official site of the Museum, or call (664) 634.3476.
