TIJUANA.- This morning the parents of Haitian origin, Rosenie Jan Baptise and her husband, went to the civil registry module installed in the facilities of the General Hospital to register the child.
Stacy is the name of the first baby born in Tijuana with immigrant parents of Haitian origin who arrived in the city in search of a chance of getting political asylum in the United States.
To register the child the company of two witnesses was neccesary, an acquaintance and a volunteer of the shelter where they live.
Stacy's parents are part of the migratory flow coming from Brazil and who came to the city a few months ago.
In other cities of the State, such as Mexicali, there have already been births of children with immigrant parents, being one of them the famous case of the twins born in the month of October.
