Thanks to "los chatos" -official fans of the place- this food truck located in Tecate won the first place of the "Best Breakfast" category in the Best of Baja Awards 2016.

This food truck is simply called "El Food Truck," and has managed to position itself as the winner thanks to their loyal customers and culinary proposal.

We have seen multiple times how elegant restaurants are not always a clear sign of great food, and that sometimes you only have to look closer and pay attention to those hidden places that are actual gems of flavor, without needing any flamboyant building, and "El Food Truck" has an impeccable team of Mexican young people committed to give the best service to lovers of urban food.

What can we find here? Not many things, but what is there to try is definitely amazing; however, the BBQ rib is the most outstanding dish, which has gained fame among foodies, and not only from the city of Tecate, because people have traveled long distances to taste what this food truck has to offer.

"El Food Truck" food options are starting to expand, from tortas such as "La Jefa", or "La Chilanga Banda", to hamburgers, sandwiches, and pizzas. When talking about creativity, the nature of dishes varies according to seasonal ingredients.

This is how "El Food Truck" earned the first place, with lots of flavor, lots of support, and above all, thanks to the effort they make everyday to help Tecate grow in this area. The voting was made through our Facebook group San Diego Red opinion and we are looking forward to see what's next for this place.
