Holi Fest in Rosarito Beach Will Raise Donations For Immigrant Homes

Yoga, meditation, organic products expo, colored powders and more!

ROSARITO.- For the fourth year in a row Rosarito will be hosting an event where community life is celebrated with a series of activities for all ages, and will also seek to show support for immigrant homes.

Yoga, meditation, exhibition of services and eco-friendly products, both organic and artisanal, contemporary dance, live music, and 2,000 colored powders to celebrate, can be found next Sunday April 23 at the Hotel Castillos del Mar in Rosarito.

According to the organizers, Holi Fest is held to celebrate "synchronicity with several cities of Mexico and the world, the triumph of The Light that through the dark winter makes way for rebirth, stronger and more determined each time."

Colors will symbolize the unity, recognition and inclusion of all beings. This event will be free, you only have to donate food or money for the personal care items for the immigrants, for example, rice, oil, beans, sugar, coffee, salt, deodorant, shampoo, soap, brushes and toothpaste.

The event will be held from 1 to 7 pm.
