John is the first Haitian who seeks to enter a university in Tijuana to graduate and to have the quality of life that he has been looking for five years since he left his country.
The Ministry of State Education is assisting John with the revalidation of classes since his high school education concluded in Brazil, where he lived for some years before arriving to Tijuana in October of last year.
John did not rest after arriving to this border city, where he got a job in a warehouse, to later regularize his immigration status, social security number and RFC.
This Haitian is one of thousands in the region, but he says his goals are clear: to enter the university and to obtain a bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
