Only 20 people were elected at a national level

TIJUANA .- A young "Tijuanense," Valeria Obregón, a high school student was the only one in the state to participate to win a scholarship to study in Singapore; however, she was also the only Mexican who managed to be selected to travel to this place.

Students from all over the world were sent to an International College where they share ideas, culture, religion and so on. On the part of UWC Mexico, Valeria was the unique Mexican in being chosen to study two years in Singapore. At a national level, only 20 people were chosen to obtain the opportunity to travel to different parts of the world.

There are 17 schools around the world that are part of the same movement that is UWC, so the other 19 youths will go to places like Italy, Norway, Japan, among others.

Valeria will begin her adventure in August, but at the same time she also invited other young people to participate and learn from another country, other people and the problems they are currently living.

Are you interested in participating? The application for 2018 will be available until early June. More information here.
