UABC Tijuana Campus to Hold 5th Edition of Environmental Awareness Fair

The State University is preparing an event meant to teach you how to care for the environment

TIJUANA.- Events are organized every day in this city, many of them involving food, craft beer, and cool bands, right? Well, just so you know, residents in this city really care for the environment as well, and year by year has been increasing the numbers of events that teach you how to live better, be better, and eat better.

That's why the Environmental Awareness Fair is back with its 5th edition and is again organized by students from the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC).

The event will be held May 11 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, in which you could attend to workshops and lectures, enjoy the exhibitions, or try the the vegetarian and vegan food offered in several stands. Music, fun activities, and more will also be part of this fair.

The main goal of this fair is to create environment awareness and inform about the actual situation of the planet, along with advice on how to help you stop your environmental community problems. Due to this, civil groups, people, and companies, will be in charge of giving lectures to show how they operate and how we can be part of the movement or solution.

The opening of the event will take place at the Reading Room of UABC, Campus Otay. Admission is free for students and general public. The Environmental Awareness Fair will be part of Earth Day's celebration.
