On this edition of Baja California Dreaming, food critic Bill Esparza introduces us to some of Baja’s best street seafood: Mariscos El Mazateño. Located in Tijuana, its founder brought Sinaloa’s techniques to Baja creating the internationally famous Tacos de Camarón Enchilado (Spicy Shrimp Tacos). Bill talked about El Mazateño’s history with their manager, Heriberto, who also told him a little bit about their most famous dishes.Our beloved host can’t wait to start tasting some of El Mazateño’s delicious food.
