The U.S. Consulate General in Tijuana has announced via social media that it will hold its final online auction of surplus furniture and computer equipment.
The virtual sale is being conducted to clear out excess inventory from the consulate’s local facilities, with all items priced in Mexican pesos (MXN).
The online auction will open at 10:00 a.m. on October 29 and run through 10:00 a.m. on November 3.
To join, prospective buyers must register using a valid email address and phone number at the official portal: https://online-auction.state.gov/en-US.

Once the bidding opens, participants should navigate to the section labeled “Tijuana MX” to view available listings. The inventory features a wide range of goods, including bedroom sets, coffee tables, lamps, computer equipment, and an industrial stove.
Registered bidders can submit offers for their preferred items directly through the portal. Winning bidders will be notified by email or phone with detailed instructions on how to finalize their purchases.
Winners must complete payment at a Banamex branch between November 3 and November 4. Items will be available for pickup on November 5 and November 6 at the U.S. Consulate General facilities in Tijuana.
