The weekend is almost here, bringing opportunities to relax, enjoy live music, and take in cultural events for every taste. Both Tijuana and San Diego have plenty to offer.

Ha*Ash in Concert

The famous duo brings their international Haashville tour to Tijuana, performing their greatest hits along with tracks from their self-titled seventh album released in October 2024. The show takes place at Audiorama El Trompo on Friday, September 19, at 9:00 pm. Tickets range from $750 to $2,200 MXN (approximately $42–$122 USD).

Opera Don Giovanni

Opera de Tijuana will celebrate its 25th anniversary with a production of Mozart’s classic Don Giovanni at the Casa de la Cultura Theater. The staging features baritone Carlos Gutiérrez Valenzuela and will run on Friday, September 19, and Saturday, September 20, at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $300 MXN (approximately $17 USD).

Alfredo Olivas at El Palenque

As part of the Tijuana Fair, Alfredo Olivas returns with his blend of corridos and banda, performing favorites such as Debo Olvidarte, El Animal, and Espérame. Imaginarium Presents Utopia

In San Diego, Imaginarium brings Utopia, a glowing fantasy world filled with 35,000 illuminated roses, more than 25 fairy-tale creatures, and over 5 million lights. 43rd Annual Adams Avenue Street Fair

The Normal Heights neighborhood of San Diego hosts one of Southern California’s largest free festivals with 75 musical acts on seven stages, beer gardens, carnival rides, food vendors, and circus performances. Spanning 10 city blocks, the fair takes place on Saturday, September 20, from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm, and Sunday, September 21, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
