5 Events You Should Definitely Attend This Weekend

To dance or to mosh? That's the question

Our favorite days of the week are nearly here and the best part is that there are lots of fun options available for all wallets. FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25TH

Tecate Location with 50 Cent- Tijuana

After several dynamics with Cerveza Tecate, we discovered that 50 Cent's concert will take place in a place, just as promised, that isn't usually reserved for concerts. This event will take place at Real Del Mar's Golf Course, alongside the rapper A Band Of Bitches and Kinky's Gil Cerezo will also be performing.

Mon Laferte in Tijuana

Mon Laferte is a Chilean singer who is venturing into Mexico with very little obstacles. Her soprano voice that sometimes varies on to a more throaty sound, moves among rock, pop, reggae and electronic in such a strangely yet natural way that it turns out to be very convincing.

Aside from singing, Mon Laferte composes and plays the majority of her instruments, need another reason to watch her perform? She is very beautiful and knows how to put on a show. She will performing this Friday at Black Box, host by excellence to all independent artists.

Tijuana Expo Tattoo

Tattoos are just part of a "passing trend", they are here to stay given that a taste for body art is contagious as much as addictive. Those who have tattoos will abide to this.

So if you're tattooed or ink free, pierced or unpierced, this expo is for anyone who wants admired this type of making art. This event will feature a tattoo exhibition and contest, live music by 22 Misiles and Pucha Lucha, food, a freak show and demonstration of body suspenders. If you're interested you have a date for September 26th and 27th.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26TH

Mercado en la Azotea (Market On The Roof)

A clothes an accessory sale by local designers becomes the perfect excuse to create a new space of cultural diffusion. This is an event created to promote regional talent, no just in the fashion world but also in music.

This edition of Mercado en la Azotea will feature bands that will from rock to electro, making sure you dance or at least bob your head to each beat. Taking place at Boston Bar between Revolucion and Madero, we suggest you attend because we can assure you, you'll find something different.

Dis Is Tijuana 2015

Dis is Tijuana annual event is sure to be a total success. All of those who attended the event's past edition know that this a free event where you will be able to see bands such as Age of Collapse from San Diego and Ruins, from Germany, as main performer. Also performing will be Iwokk, Habak and Morir Soñando.

Furthermore, this organization invites you to bring along some donations for street animals: Dog and cat food or cleaning products.
