CETYS inaugurates the innovation and design center building

The future of the 4.0 industry in Mexico

With 6,500 M2 to host the future of the 4.0 industry in Mexico and more than 200 million pesos directly invested in the project, the CETYS University System, with support from the state government and Conacyt, inaugurated the Innovation and Design Center (CEID, for its initials in Spanish) building on the Mexicali Campus.

Operating under a quadruple helix model, which involves the participation of academia, industry, government and society, the CEID will be producing at least 10 innovation projects a year.

“This space will be vital to promote research, idea development, programs, projects, and prototypes as well as serve as a space for collaboration between the various actors of society to achieve a better future for all,” informed the Dean of CETYS University, Dr. Fernando Leon Garcia.
