TIJUANA.- Almost a year ago, I visited Merida, Yucatan, where among so much food, I enjoyed one dish the most, the so called "Marquesitas," a typical dessert that you can find in the parks, outside the churches, or at festivals.

This sweet treat is made with soft and sugary dough, which is filled with Dutch cheese. Some also prefer to add cajeta, chocolate, honey or jam. If you have not had the fortune to try it, very soon you will be able to do it here, in Tijuana.

This Saturday, March 10, the opening of "Marquesitas La Rua" will take place at Av. Paseo Villa Fontana and calle Nápoles no. 3711 Local 2, Villa Fontana cp 22205. According to its social media there will be gifts and tastings for attendees. You can't miss it!
