If you can’t make this event you will be able to watch it via Facebook Live.

This organization promotes the feminist movement to women from Tijuana, through its Facebook page and outside social networks with activities such as monthly women's circles where they address different issues regarding feminism and providing support to women with mental health problems.

The feminist principles that Colectivo Violeta abides to are:

- Feminism by and for the liberation of women, a class that’s considered globally oppressed, just by being born with the biological characteristics of a woman.

– Feminism that is anti-exploitation of the body of women: anti-porn, anti-prostitution, anti-surrogacy.

-Feminism that recognizes that women are more oppressed than others due to patriarchal tools of oppression such as racism, xenophobia, classism, and lesbophobia.
