"El Vergel" pools announce their reopening despite coronavirus

From Wednesday August 12th El Vergel will be open to the public with new hours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

One of the most affected and probably most forgotten industries after the coronavirus crisis are the water parks, which take advantage of only spring and summer to reopen their doors, but they had to change their dynamics after the coronavirus outbreak. At least in Mexico, in early August they have been given the opportunity to reopen with a maximum occupancy of 25%.

In the city of Tijuana there are the well known swimming pools ''El Vergel'', which all summer receive hundreds of visitors to refresh their day, after 8 months closed they have just announced their upcoming reopening.

Starting Wednesday, August 12, El Vergel will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., in order to enter it will be mandatory to wear a mask, to take the family´s temperature and you will find separate tables, sanitized tables.

It will be assured that the water in the pools will go through a daily sanitization procedure to avoid infections, and the chlorine levels in the pools will be checked.

Currently, Baja California is in the middle of a red light, however, the opening of spas, bars, gyms and other venues is already being permitted.
