Los Cabos: one of the favorite destinations for tourists to travel in September

Of the total number of searches for national destinations, about 20% were carried out by Mexicans and the rest by other countries

In view of the coronavirus outbreak in the world, one of the sectors that has been most affected is, without a doubt, tourism, which as time goes by begins to be safely reactivated.

Despite the decrease in travel observed in recent months, due to the health emergency caused by COVID-19, Mexican beach destinations are showing a remarkable recovery. Data revealed by Expedia confirms that interest in travel has grown about 10% in June to July for trips in August and September of this year.

Of the total number of searches for national destinations, about 20% were made by Mexicans, while more than 60% were made by foreigners, mostly Americans, followed by Canadians, corresponding to almost 10% of the searches.

On the other hand, the survey reveals that travelers will want to experience nature and freedom on the fine sand of Cancun's beaches (35%), enjoy the turquoise waters of the Riviera Maya (25%) and relax among the desert landscapes and breathtaking seas of Los Cabos (10%).

Cancun's beaches were highlighted in the document and this new data confirms that they are still destinations of interest for national and international travelers in the coming months, in spite of the coronavirus outbreak in the world.

However, despite the fact that only 10% of those surveyed opted for Los Cabos, this destination may soon position itself in the top places of of Mexicans and foreign visitors, since its international airport has recently been recognized as the first in Latin America to receive the Accreditation of Sanitary Measures for Airports (AHA), and the second worldwide.

If you decide to visit them soon, do not hesitate to stay at City Express Suites Cabo San Lucas which has some offers.
