The crisis caused by the outbreak of coronavirus around the world is not yet over, this virus continues to infect millions of people and cause their death, but this virus no longer seems to matter for multiple events.

The state of Baja California remains under red light by state order, no events are allowed, the maximum capacity is 25% in spaces, several events have been postponed to avoid the spread of this virus but this coming September 26 and 27 the Baja 500 race is expected to take place.

This event held in the port of San Felipe is reviewing the security protocols that will be applied for the safe reactivation of commercial and tourist activities in the port, as well as finalizing details of the Baja 500 Off Road race.

Information obtained by Uniradio, announced that the mayor of Mexicali, spoke with representatives of the hotel and restaurant industry, to agree on the health protocols that will be applied to prevent the spread of COVID-19, and thus push the safe return of these activities.

Also, the measures to be followed by visitors were announced: mandatory use of mask, abide by the regulations in Malecon and Playa Segura, maintaining a healthy distance, and no alcoholic beverages may be introduced.
