San Ysidro family asks for emergency help for their mother

Although they are selling desserts and some other things, they still need to gather enough money to perform the removal of a newly diagnosed tumor

Jason Rosenburg, informed family and friends about the bladder tumor diagnosed a week ago to Gloria Contreras Zaizar, mother of his friend David Peguero, who had been having health problems for a month, she was also diagnosed with kidney problems, which will be treated once the tumor is resolved.

However, even though David and his family are selling cakes, bread, cookies and other things to help cover other day-to-day expenses and medications, the cost of the procedure to remove the tumor has yet to be covered, and it must be done as soon as possible.

"We know that this year has been hard for everyone and these things come without warning and during the worst times and that is why we are asking for your help. The amount we have stated will cover the procedure that needs to be done as soon as possible. (The procedure will consist of removing the tumor, sending it for examination and opening up her urinary tract so that the kidney can drain as it is supposed to.) This should be done as soon as possible. After that, we can go ahead with the recommended treatments and move on to the next issue, so we need all the help we can get. This initial goal should cover the first procedure, but we know we will need more than that," confessed David through a donation campaign created on Go Fund Me.

According to this campaign created by Jason, they need to raise $2,500 for the process to benefit Mrs. Gloria, who currently lives in San Ysidro, but is also a Mexican citizen.

"For those of you who don't know mom, she has spent her life taking care of her children and making sure they had everything they needed. She does everything she can to help others and make sure their needs are met. She is an extraordinary woman who has endured everything that life has thrown at her and we know that this will only be one more thing that she will overcome. Her heart is the biggest thing about her and if you knew her, you would fall in love with her," said her son.

If you wish to support Mrs. Gloria either with a prayer, good energy or a donation that is within your possibilities, you can access the following link, where you will also learn more about her illness.
