Rosarito beaches still closed this weekend

Only some hours are set aside for beach visits, Monday through Friday, due to the pandemic.

Today, September 25th, the Secretary of Citizen Security of Rosarito, Francisco Arellano, reported about the visit to the beaches.

There is only one time available to visit the beaches Monday through Friday due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and it is Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. With the motto that people have to be on the move and not just in one place.

He warns that recently people have been coming to the beaches with alcoholic drinks on weekends and this is still not allowed. Such people are liable to a fine.

Citizens are asked to be aware, as there are administrative sanctions for not complying with the current regulations.

What is the sanction for non-compliance?

- Sweeping the streets
- Pay the fine as determined by the judge

No intoxicating beverages or entering with a vehicle. The population is encouraged not to go to the beaches, especially on weekends.
