Bonilla's Secretary celebrates his wedding in Tijuana despite the red light

It is presumed that about 130 people attended and that safe distancing was not respected

The state of Baja California to this day remains at a red light by state order. Despite the pandemic it was revealed that the personal secretary of the current governor of Baja California, Jaime Bonilla, carried out a wedding in which it is presumed that there was no safe distancing or face masks.

The information obtained by La Jornada,, states that the party took place in the Jardin Magnolia, located in the Rodolfo Sanchez Taboada Boulevard in the Rio de Tijuana Zone.

In view of this situation, Morena's officials violated the protocol for the operation of party grounds that was approved last September 17 by the state government's Health Department, which established that only 50 diners could participate with the obligatory use of face masks, disinfectant mats and antibacterial gel, as well as a distribution of tables that respects the healthy distance, in which it is presumed that around 130 people attended.

The wedding was celebrated this Friday, September 25, in which the presence of the State Secretary of Health, Alonso Perez Rico and the Secretary General of Government, Amador Rodriguez Lozano, among other members of Bonilla's cabinet, were seen.

It is important to remember that the state of Baja California has changed to a yellow traffic light by federal order, although by state order this Monday the entity will move to an orange traffic light. The Secretary of Health insisted on the healthy distance, staying home and the use of masks as the only solution to break the chain of infection.
