The Tourism and Convention Committee of Tijuana (Cotuco) reported on the success achieved with the project "Tijuana al Fresco", which aimed to reactivate the economy of businesses located on the emblematic Revolution Avenue of this border city.
According to the organizers, at least 18 restaurants participated in this edition, which were able to increase their sales up to 40%.
As you will remember, the project began on August 29th and 30th, but after the good results and support of the population, which needed a break from the current health crisis "Tijuana al Fresco" stayed throughout September, bringing together a total of 50 thousand people during this period
It is worth mentioning that this initiative also helped to hire 60 people in the participating restaurants, which implemented hygiene and health protocols to avoid contagion from COVID-19.
