The government of the municipality of Ensenada in Baja California, informed this Saturday October 10 that in a meeting with the Secretary of Foreign Affairs, Marcelo Ebrard Causobon, it was agreed to provide information about this port in the region, both in the Mexican consulates of the United States, as well as in those located in the rest of the world.

"Chancellor Ebrard welcomed our proposal and agreed that the consulates located in the United States and some other countries should have brochures and information about Ensenada. At this time, every effort, no matter how small, is beneficial to our community," said Ensenada Mayor Armando Ayala Robles.

With this, in addition to promoting the municipality, we seek to reactivate Ensenada's economy, which has been affected like other tourist places, by the COVID-19 pandemic.

As it is known, this town is very important at a national level since it is recognized under the categories of tourism, agriculture, wine, education, fishing, aquaculture, ports and industry.

In addition, during this meeting with Marcelo Ebrard it was shown how the SRE Liaison Office in Ensenada is ready to be reopened, which was closed during the last administration, according to authorities of this municipality of Baja California.

With this next reopening, Ensenada natives are now able to process their passports without having to travel to Tijuana.
