According to what was presented on Wednesday, October 14 by the Secretary of Health, Alonso Perez Rico, reported that so far Baja California has 20 thousand 533 positive COVID-19 cases accumulated, among the age groups that have tested positive are those under one year old.

Of this group, 36 have contracted the new coronavirus, of which 20 were boys and 16 were girls. In addition to these cases, children between the ages of 1 and 14 have also been infected with COVID-19, making a total of 250 children in the age Rangel mentioned above.

After presenting these data, according to Perez Rico, young adults between 30 and 34 years of age, who register 2 thousand 535 confirmed cases, are the second age group after adults over 65 years of age, the most affected by this disease; of which one thousand 334 are women and one thousand 201 are men.

On the other hand, adults over 65 have 2 thousand 913 positive cases, of which one thousand 333 are women and one thousand 580 are men, so they remain the most vulnerable population.

In view of this, the Secretary of Health said that "all age groups get sick".

To date, 343 active cases, 3 thousand 678 deaths and at least 13 thousand 251 patients recovered from COVID-19 have been reported in Baja California.
