The Tijuana City Hall posted from its Facebook page inviting the Tijuana population to take care of themselves and take the strictest sanitary measures due to the increase in cases of coronavirus.

In addition to the increase in cases, there have also been reports of parties on the weekends. According to David Gutierrez Inzunza, in charge of the Health Risk Protection Commission in the region, 92 complaints were made this weekend.

These events have been organized in private houses rented by the organizers in order to hold parties, since at the moment there are no authorizations to use traditional event halls.

In the same way, he informed that there will be large fines for those who decide to ignore the instructions of the health authorities. These fines could be up to 82 thousand pesos and would be directed to the hosts of the homes where the party was held.

So far, Baja California is in orange and Tijuana, until today's cut, registers 103 cases of active coronavirus, concentrated in the neighborhoods Camino Verde, Zona Rio, Paseos del Vergel, Las Delicias and Villas del Prado.
