As reported by Tijuana authorities, due to the celebration of Halloween last October 31st and November 1st, a surveillance operation was implemented in the city in order to avoid crowds in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Among the most patrolled places was the Zona Centro of Tijuana, which was seen through social media, which witnessed a large affluence of people on Halloween.

And it was precisely in this area that 12 people were detained for administrative offences, which were presented to the Municipal Judge, according to information from authorities.

For its part, the Secretary of Security and Municipal Citizen Protection (SSPCM) indicated that there were no injuries or mishaps in the neighborhoods where surveillance patrols were carried out.

For the time being, this November 2, the population is reminded that the border city's cemeteries are closed, which are also being guarded through patrols conducted by the Municipal Police, according to authorities.
