According to this Saturday's, November 7 update, presented by Health Secretary Alonso Pérez Rico, in the last 24 hours 182 new COVID-19 cases were registered in Baja California.

However, on this occasion the municipality of Ensenada surprised with the report of 67 of the 182 new cases, while Mexicali had 48 new cases and Tijuana had 31.

This caused the Secretary of Health's astonishment, since compared to the November 5 report, Ensenada had reported only 2 new cases.

Thus, the state has accumulated 22 thousand 858 positive cases, of which 10 thousand 292 belong to Mexicali, 7 thousand 338 to Tijuana and 3 thousand and 55 to Ensenada, making it the top three most affected municipalities in Baja California.

In turn, until Saturday morning, Ensenada surpassed Tijuana in active cases, after having 80 of these and the border city 73. Although the state capital continues as the municipality with the most active cases since it adds 201 of the 398 that are located in the state.

In the case of deceased from COVID-19, the region registered 19 new deaths from this disease, 10 in Mexicali, 7 in Tijuana and 2 in Ensenada; causing Baja California to add 3 thousand 937 deaths from coronavirus.

Despite the fact that 16 thousand 792 Baja Californians have already recovered, the battle is not over yet, since there are still 92 intubated patients.
