As expected, the restrictions on border crossings between Mexico and the United States were extended for another month, confirmed this Friday morning by the Mexican Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
"After reviewing the development of the spread of COVID-19 in both countries, and due to the fact that several states are under orange of the Epidemiological Light Chart, Mexico proposed to the United States the extension for one more month of the restrictions to non-essential land transit in their common border".
Thus, only essential travel will be allowed at the various crossings between both countries, leaving many without their Christmas shopping.

Las restricciones se mantendrán en los mismos términos en que se han desarrollado desde su implementación el 21 de marzo.
