Baja California's Secretary of Health, Alonso Perez Rico, indicated during his daily report that 40 thousand Pfizer vaccines will arrive in Baja California tomorrow, Tuesday, March 2.

The doses will be destined to adults over 60 years of age in the municipalities of Ensenada and Mexicali.

So far there are 23 thousand people of this demographic group vaccinated in the state.

Perez Rico indicated that suburban areas and nursing homes are the areas of highest priority for the application of the antidote, for which reason they have arranged various health centers and common places for care.

It was specified that the front line health personnel in Baja California are already 100% vaccinated, so new doses are expected to vaccinate the rest of the 20 thousand doctors, nurses, specialists and other workers in different medical areas.

It should be remembered that the Undersecretary of Health, Hugo Lopez-Gatell, indicated a few hours ago that as of March 1st, Baja California switched to the yellow epidemiological traffic light.
