From March 9 until June 28, 2021 you can enjoy "The Power of Poison", which more than an exhibition is an experience that shows the ability of damage or defense that poisons have in nature and how humans have taken advantage of them in different ways: from inspiration for detective novels, magic and mystery, to incorporate them into medicines and therapies for various diseases.

This "poisonous" exhibition is organized and designed by the American Museum of Natural History in New York and brought to Mexico for the first time thanks to the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC).

The interesting exhibition uses theatrical dioramas, objects, interactive stations and attractive audiovisual components to address the different roles of poison, combining history, legend, biology, medicine, chemistry and literature in an entertaining and unforgettable way.

In addition to this, as part of the tour you will meet famous magicians, fairy tale characters, romantic novel lovers and historical characters who have used poisons or have been its victims, as well as snakes, scorpions, plants and some witches with their spells.

If you are curious and want to experience this, you can find it at the "Alvaro Blancarte" Art Hall of the Tijuana Campus of the UABC from Tuesday to Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with free access.

Due to the protocols established by the UABC in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, in order to attend you must register in advance to guarantee a safe visit, as space is limited.
