According to the National Meteorological System (SMN) of the National Water Commission (Conagua), cold front No. 46 will extend over northern Mexico, in interaction with a dry line and a pulse of the jet stream, causing strong wind gusts over the northwest, north and northeast of the country.

Due to this, on Saturday March 27 and Sunday March 28, wind gusts between 37 and up to 43 miles per hour are forecast for Baja California.

Although mornings and nights will continue to be cold, especially in the mountainous areas of the state, these winds could slightly increase the temperature in the afternoons in the region.

Such is the case of Tijuana, a municipality that will have a minimum of 42° Fahrenheit and a maximum of 68° Fahrenheit for this Saturday, while for Sunday a minimum of 48° Fahrenheit and a maximum of 82° Fahrenheit are expected, according to information from Meteored.

In view of these temperatures and the probability of winds, authorities urge the population to:

Protect themselves from sudden temperature changes.
Protect themselves from solar radiation (direct or indirect) and avoid as much as possible their exposure between 10:00 and 16:00 hours.
Do not throw away lit cigarette butts.
Do not burn garbage or grass, or light bonfires.
Keep away from billboards or tall/large objects such as: poles, trees, palm trees and be vigilant of electrical, telephone and data cables and wires that could fall due to strong winds.
