Taqueria in Tijuana has the ideal taco to soothe the "munchies".

Each one of its ingredients will not only surprise you but will also make your mouth water.

Tijuana's taquerias continue to surprise chef Danny Betancourt during his tours, since in addition to the service, its facilities, the innovation of the taco, and its ingredients, now they also did it even with the name.

Who are we talking about? Asadero El Taco, located in Plaza Unisur, against the corner of the Autonomous University of Baja California (UABC), in Otay. This is because with its Munchies taco this Tijuana place made its $65 pesos price worth it.

What is different about this taco? First of all, the tortilla is "bathed" in cheese on the outside, making it look golden brown. Also, the meat in this taco is New York, it contains bacon, California chili, avocado, tanned red onion and nacho cheese, yes, nacho cheese!

Because of its size and all these ingredients, Danny found it hard to pick it up with one hand and take the first bite.

"As the name says, it's good munchies, la neta. If you want to come hungry, for something intense and with a lot of flavor, this taco is ideal," said the chef after tasting it. And he added that the meat was "soft", and that the avocado gave it "creaminess".

If you want to try it and see if it's that good, just like Danny's recommendation, the best thing to do is to add a few drops of habanero and lime sauce.

The rating for this taco was 8.2.

Another taco that the chef did not pass was the Chucky, which is $47 pesos and has: avocado, arrachera, grilled cheese on the base, chorizo, caramelized onion, and cilantro; all in a medium thick tortilla.

However, upon tasting it Danny said that even though the chorizo had flavor, the arrachera was a bit lost, and it was just peppery. So he rated it with a 7.4.
