Active cases of COVID-19 reported in these neighborhoods of Baja California

Mexicali is where most of the active cases located in the State are concentrated

Baja California accumulates 330 active COVID-19 cases, 226 of them concentrated in Mexicali, 78 in Tijuana, 11 in Ensenada, five in Tecate, five in Rosarito, three in San Felipe and two in San Quintín.

In addition, the State capital has the highest incidence of active cases per 100 thousand inhabitants, at 21.23, while in Tijuana it is 4.28, in Rosarito 4.45, in Tecate 4.27 and in Ensenada 2.36.

In order not to lower our guard and to maintain prevention measures, the Secretary of Health, Alonso Pérez Rico, informed this Tuesday about the neighborhoods where most of these cases are located in the state.

  • Tijuana: Francisco Villa, Camino Verde/Grupo Mexico and Nueva Tijuana.
  • Tecate: Emiliano Zapata and Rincón Tecate.
  • Rosarito: Lomas de Rosarito, Ampliación Lucio Blanco, López Gutiérrez and Predios Urbanos Rosarito.
  • Mexicali: Villa las Lomas, Conjunto Urbano Cucapah, Hacienda del Bosque, Valle de Puebla, Valle del Pedregal, Hacienda del Río, Venustiano Carranza, Independencia, Gran Hacienda, Fundadores, Voluntad, Villanova and Nueva Esperanza.
  • Mexicali Valley: Villa Zapata, Lázaro Cárdenas, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí 1, Nuevo León and Saltillo.
  • San Felipe: Second Section, Baja Marina and Nuevo San Felipe.
  • Ensenada: Esperanza, Carlos Pacheco 4, Lomas del Mar, Playas de Chapultepec, Mar de Ensenada, Vista al Mar and Villa Residencial del Real III.
  • San Quintín: Maclovio Rojas.

Do you live in any of these neighborhoods? Remember that the COVID-19 pandemic is not over yet. So far in this health crisis, 47 thousand 833 Baja Californians have tested positive and another 8 thousand and 19 have lost their lives.
