San Diego to coordinate with Tijuana to vaccinate manufacture employees

Nora Vargas, San Diego County Supervisor informed that workers of U.S. manufacturing plants located in Tijuana could receive vaccines against the coronavirus from San Diego County.

Vargas commented, during the COVID-19 update conference by San Diego County, that they are allocating their resources to have U.S. manufacturing plants employees located in Tijuana vaccinated against the coronavirus.

According to Vargas, this is being done with the endorsement of the federal government and the county, it will be possible to vaccinate hundreds of manufacturing workers in Tijuana from U.S. companies to give way to a binational recovery that would benefit the economy of both countries.

Likewise, the supervisor invited the San Diego community in general who have not been vaccinated to go to a center to get the dose.

"We must continue to protect ourselves to be able to return to normality," Vargas commented.
