Have your umbrella ready! Rain could arrive to Tijuana this weekend

Civil Protection reported that this condition could occur specifically during the morning and night of Saturday and early Sunday morning

According to the regional weather model, Civil Protection reported that a low pressure system generated a drop in temperature with partly clear to cloudy conditions from this Friday through next Sunday. And although the maximum temperature for today is 71 degrees Fahrenheit (22 degrees Celsius) and the minimum is 57 degrees Fahrenheit (14 degrees Celsius), there is a possibility of rain for this weekend.

The report shows the possibility of a dense marine layer that would cause light showers or isolated drizzle in the mornings and evenings starting Saturday and during Sunday morning.

In case of rain, avoid crossing fast flowing water, streams or flooded streets; do not throw garbage in riverbeds, streams or public roads; stay away from billboards or tall objects such as poles, trees and palm trees, in addition to following the recommendations of the Health authorities and the municipal agency.

Civil Protection recommends to protect yourself from sudden changes in temperature, direct or indirect solar radiation, avoid exposure to the sun between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., do not throw away lit cigarette butts, do not burn garbage, grass or light bonfires.
