For Mariachi Vargas concert this road will be closed in Tijuana

Find out which will be the alternate routes and take your precautions

Starting at 4:40 p.m. on Saturday, July 31, a total closure will be made of the section of the Sánchez Taboada Boulevard exit, at the Volvo car dealership spot, to rejoin the Via Lenta Poniente, in the direction of Paseo de los Héroes.

This is so that the presentation of Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán, which will take place as part of the celebrations for the 132nd anniversary of the city at the Lázaro Cárdenas Federal High School, can be carried out in a way that ensures the safety of pedestrians and drivers, according to the City Hall.

The alternate routes to enter from Vía Lenta Poniente to Paseo de los Héroes will be the streets Misión de Mulegé and Misión de la Paz, according to the General Directorate of Police and Municipal Transit.

For citizens attending the Mariachi Vargas concert, which will begin at 5:00 in the afternoon, please be advised that the parking lot of the plaza next to the high school will be open until 1:00 in the morning.

As you may recall, this event is free of charge, however, according to the Ministry of Health, only 2 thousand 500 people will have access to the event, and they must present proof of vaccination against COVID-19.

The places to obtain the tickets are Farmacias Roma, where three tickets per person can be delivered; as well as Chevron gas stations, where only three tickets per vehicle will be distributed.
