Twenty-one Pitbull dogs that are now under the care of Tijuanas Animal Control Center and waiting for adoption could be euthanized if a proper home is not found for each of them.
These are all part of the 54 Pitbull dogs rescued from a house in the Alamar neighborhood last April. Most of them were adopted into different homes, but Iván Márquez, a representative from the Provid Animal nonprofit organization, said that there is worry about what could happen to the dogs that are still under the Municipal Health Departments care.
Márquez told Mexican newspaper El Sol de Tijuana that these 21 animals are being taken proper care of, but they cant be held in those facilities for much longer, and extended an invitation for the public to adopt them into good homes.
