4 events you will love in Tijuana this weekend

Check out some of the activities that this city has to offer this weekend

After a year and a half of the pandemic and with almost 80% of the population over the age of 18 vaccinated against COVID-19, Tijuana is under the yellow traffic light and with this some restrictions have been lifted little by little. Thanks to this, the city has been reactivated in terms of events, carrying out the proper security measures; in order to promote local tourism and revive the economy, here are 4 events that you can not miss this weekend.

Vegan Street Food Festival

If you are vegan and you love street food, but you are having a hard time finding a suitable option for you, the "Vegan Street Food Festival'' is the right place, it will take place at the organic swap meet located at the Culture House in Playas de Tijuana, this Sunday September 5th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., where besides vegan gastronomy there will be pet accessories, household items, beauty and much more.

Urban Bazaar

Our second option is the urban bazaar located at Colectivo 9 on Avenida Revolucion, between 6th and 7th streets, this bazaar will be held this Friday September 3, Saturday September 4 and Sunday September 5, from 1 p.m. until 9 p.m. Among its offerings are second hand clothing from 80 pesos, conceptual and handmade jewelry, books, crafts, and more; in addition to the gastronomic offerings of Colectivo 9.

Plant Lovers Market

On Saturday and Sunday the second edition of the "Plant Lovers Market'' will be held at El Jardin de Frida, located in Colonia Cacho, this event will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and as its name suggests here you can find all kinds of plants and products for your garden, presented by its 13 exhibitors.

Tijuana Fair

Last but not least, a Tijuana classic, the Tijuana Fair, with its gastronomic offer and mechanical and non-mechanical games, also for this weekend Alta Consigna, Julión Álvarez and Reik, on will play on Friday, Saturday and Sunday respectively, at the Teatro del Pueblo located in the open air amphitheater of the Trompo Museum.
