COVID-19: First dose vaccines arrive today for Mexicali

They seek to have them applied as soon as possible

During the daily update issued by the government of Baja California, the same agency and the Secretary of Health of Baja California, Alonso Pérez Rico, announced that this Saturday a series of anti COVID-19 vaccines will arrive for the inhabitants of Mexicali, what was not disclosed was the laboratory to which they belong.

Pérez Rico commented that the 10,000 vaccines will be sent mostly to Mexicali for the application of first doses for those that feel "regretful" or who for external reasons did not have the opportunity to apply a dose in the previous campaigns.

He also commented that they will begin to coordinate efforts so that the application of these vaccines begin as soon as possible, it is expected that this Monday the vaccination campaigns will begin in the capital of Baja California.

He also announced that this vaccination campaign for Mexicali citizens will not last more than a day due to the small batch that arrived, but it all depends on the number of people who attend to get vaccinated.
