Governor-elect of Baja California, Marina del Pilar is honest and has principles: AMLO

Marina del Pilar pointed out that AMLO has been one of the leaders who has paid the most attention to Baja California

The President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, pointed out during the closing of his tour through Baja California that Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda, the Elected-governor of Baja California, is an honest woman with ideals and principles, for which she will have his full support during his administration, which will begin on November 1st. For her part, Marina del Pilar considered that, with all the actions carried out by the federal government in the last three years, the national president showed a special affection for Baja Californians, who have already endorsed the support for the Fourth Transformation in three consecutive elections.

Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda highlighted that, with the inauguration of a National Guard barracks in Mexicali, the presentation of Programs for Wellbeing in Tecate, the inauguration of the "Benito Juárez" University in San Quintín, the announcement of the regularization of irregular vehicles signed in Ensenada, the progress report on social benefit programs in Playas de Rosarito and the rehabilitation of Tijuana's General Hospital, all of which show that the Fourth Transformation is making strong progress in Baja California and is a priority for the President of the Republic.

It is worth mentioning that during his visit to Tijuana, the President of Mexico announced that he will begin, at the start of 2022, a second story highway that will lead from the Tijuana International Airport to the Cañón del Matadero, located at the access to Playas de Tijuana, which will culminate its construction by the end of 2023. The Governor-elect stated that Andrés Manuel López Obrador has been one of the national leaders who has paid the most attention to Baja California in its history, and an example of this is the support in the distribution of vaccines against COVID-19 in the state.

Marina del Pilar especially pondered the regularization of irregular vehicles in the state, announced by López Obrador, projecting it as one of the programs that will have the greatest social impact in the territory, since it will give legal certainty to the owners and will help them to build a patrimony that improves their quality of life, since these units are largely used to work or transport the family, so it is a basic necessity.

The first woman to govern Baja California recalled Andrés Manuel López Obrador's statements in the sense that support to the state will continue in the next six-year term, that the energy applied by the federal government in the state will be maintained and will seek to improve what was done in the present administration, giving clear signs of change in public policies to the population in general.

For Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda, the attention of President López Obrador and his focused effort in the state demonstrate that coordination, affection for the people and the will to make things happen are the driving force of the Fourth Transformation, which after three consecutive elections of absolute victory shows that life is already improving for citizens, always prioritizing the most vulnerable.
