A group of immigrants, accompanied by children, were arrested at the Otay Mesa checkpoint while crossing illegally into the United States.

The events occurred on Sunday night when immigrants wanted to force their entry into the United States through one of the sentri lanes.

The incident provoked the deployment of an operation where more than a dozen officers (CBP) quickly turned up, and people seeking political asylum in the United States were restrained.

The entrances were closed for an hour; these were opened and resumed regular crossings regularly with greater vigilance.

In Tijuana at the Chaparral, the immigrant camps remain on public roads where hundreds of people seek asylum; they desire that the US government receive them as refugees, immigrants to be heard. Very few immigrant cases have already been legally processed.

The origin of the immigrants has not been confirmed yet; at first, they thought they were Muslims. Currently, it is presumed that they could be from Brazil. In addition, a new caravan of Mexican and Central American immigrants heading to northern Mexico, hoping to cross into the neighboring country.
