Marina del Pilar expresses gratitude to Mexico for supplying anti-covid vaccinations to Baja California

Because of the positive reaction from the community, the governor announced the expansion of immunization stations in Baja, California

The governor of Baja California, Marina del Pilar vila Olmeda, thanked President Andrés Manuel López Obrador's administration for their support in the state's covid-19 vaccination campaign with the shipment of 100,000 doses, which had been requested due to the strong response from residents during the reinforcement stage and immunization of the pending sectors.

As a result, the State Governor directed that an official plane from the Government of Baja California fly to the neighboring state of Sonora to pick up the doses and transport them to Tijuana, where the antigen will be distributed the same night on Wednesday, December 12 to all vaccination points throughout the entity.

Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda, the state's governor, commended President Andrés Manuel López Obrador for his unwavering support in ensuring that Baja Californians have access to antiviral medication.\

The cargo is regarded as a historic consignment since it demonstrates the federal government's commitment and willingness to work closely with the government of Baja California to ensure the state's immunization days continue at all of the previously declared locations.

Marina del Pilar Avila Olmeda reminded that on Thursday, January 13, 13-year-olds would be vaccinated against Covid-19, which will significantly increase the margin of protection, resulting in fewer seriously ill patients with Covid-19 and, as a result, fewer intubations and deaths due to the disease.
