Baja California Governor Marina del Pilar said authorities responded to 29 incidents across the state following Sunday’s unrest and arrested 25 people allegedly involved.
The update came after a state security meeting, where officials confirmed no injuries were reported during the operation.
The governor credited coordination among federal, state and local agencies for restoring order within hours.
No new incidents since early Monday
Since 1:05 a.m. Monday, no additional incidents have been reported in Baja California. Security forces remain deployed at key locations across the state.

Officials also moved to reassure residents that public transportation, freight services and employee shuttles are operating normally and that there are no highway blockades. Major roadways remain open and under continuous monitoring.

Security task force remains on alert
The state’s security task force is in permanent session to maintain coordination and respond quickly to any new developments.
The governor recognized the role of Mexico’s Defense Ministry, the National Guard, and state and local police agencies, along with support from the federal Security Cabinet led by President Claudia Sheinbaum.

She also thanked the families of security personnel who worked extended hours, saying the events underscored the ability of authorities to respond swiftly and stabilize the situation.
