The Municipal Agency of Projects and Urban Infrastructure (DOIUM) will begin, on Friday, May 17, the hydraulic concrete paving project at Calle Mexicali, which is part of the road improvement works implemented by the Municipal Administration of Tijuana.

Staff from DOIUM will be in charge of following up on the construction of the street at Otay Centenario Delegation with a timeline of 4 months.

This Friday, these works will begin at 8 AM through a length of 550 lineal meters, where workers will begin to demolish and remove material.

As such, partial closure of the road will take place from the very beginning. As the project makes progress, a total closure will be carried out with an alternate route from Calle Paseo del Norte to Calle Magisterial that integrates into Avenida Latinoamericana will be opened.

This zone is used by 23,000 inhabitants, which is why people are being asked to take precautions regarding times and distances so that they can safely go to their destinations. They are also being asked to be careful and keep their distance from the machinery that will be used in the work area.
