Rosarito’s Christmas Bazaar: Where Festivity Meets a Good Cause

Mayor Rocío Adame’s administration spreads holiday cheer while supporting the community.

Rosarito’s Tourism Committee, led by Mayor Rocío Adame, participated in the festive opening of the Cruz Roja Christmas Bazaar. This heartwarming event is an opportunity to come together, support meaningful causes, and bring joy to local families during the holiday season.

Representing Rocío Adame Muñoz, COTUCO’s Managing Director, Irán Leonardo Verdugo Contreras, highlighted the importance of collaborating with institutions—including the Cruz Roja—to strengthen the social fabric and enhance services for the community.

"The mayor has directed us to work closely with all organizations for the well-being of our city, and the Cruz Roja is a shining example of this," Verdugo Contreras said.

Sergio Conrado Hernández Tovalín, President of the Cruz Roja Governing Board, expressed gratitude for the support of COTUCO and the Rosarito City Council.

"This bazaar not only provides local entrepreneurs with a chance to showcase their products but also helps us raise funds to continue delivering emergency services and social assistance to those in greatest need," Hernández said.

The Cruz Roja Christmas Bazaar, held on December 5 and 6, features a variety of products, including handcrafted items, clothing, food, and drinks. Live performances by bands, dance groups, and a music academy will also be showcased.

"We invite the entire community to visit our bazaar. It’s a wonderful opportunity to find unique and creative gifts while supporting a noble cause," Hernández added.
