TECATE.- Starting at 8:00 a.m on Sunday, a total of 500 local, national and international cyclists, took off on the Tecate-Ensenada bike race, organized by the Baja Race group in coordination with the City of Tecate, which had as starting point the State Arts Center, with a tour of 73 miles that led to Ensenada.



The inauguration flag was hoisted by Mayor César Moreno González de Castilla, who congratulated the cyclist for attending, pointing out that this race retakes Tecate's tradition, thanks to the enthusiasm and participation of each and everyone of the citizens of the city as well as its visitors.

The race's main goal is to offer residents as wells as tourists a quality and secure event through cycling, having the State's full support.

At the end of the 73 miles tour, through Baja's wine region, there was a festival at Ensenada State Arts Center in celebration of the cyclists and their families to acknowledge their achievement and effort put in the race.
